The SuperMedia Hotel and Conference Center is offering of rooms at a special rate
of $109 per night plus applicable taxes. Please note: the hotel
and conference center has a nice cafeteria-style restaurant and a lounge but is
located in an area where other dining, shopping, etc.,
facilities are about 5 miles away. There is a shuttle that will provide
transportation locally, but if you are not renting a car you might prefer to
stay at one of the many full-service hotels located closer to
Grapevine, TX.

800-731-6131 to book a room and let them know that you will be attending the LXR
training so that you get the negotiated rate.

There are many hotels within about 5 miles of the hotel and conference
center. We do not have negotiated room rates with these hotels.

The Hyatt Place Dallas/Grapevine is located 1.5 miles from DFW airport and less
than 5 miles from Idearc.
This hotels offers complimentary airport and local shuttle services for
transportation to a wide array of restaurants and shopping options. You can also
pre-arrange a daily morning and afternoon shuttle to take you to and from the
LXRTEST training at Idearc.
Online Resources for Finding Hotels:
There are many online resources for finding hotels nearby to the hotel
and conference center, such as http://hotels.com,
where you can enter an address/zip code and hotels with availablilty will be
listed by distance.

Rental Cars:
All major car rental agencies service DFW from a central rental
complex.
Price:
$995 per attendee. This price includes registration for the course,
lunch,
and course materials. This price does not include lodging, transportation or other meals.
Prerequisites:
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment
required.
Computers are not provided with the class.
- You should have Windows XP or Vista. You will need Administrator
privileges to install the software.
- A printer driver installed and configured. You will not be outputting to a printer but will require the printer driver to preview pages.
- To take part in all course modules, your laptop should have
Microsoft Excel and Windows Media Player installed.
- The latest revision of LXR•TEST 6.1 will be provided and loaded during
the course. The LXR•TEST 6.1 release contains
some new features in support of online testing but is otherwise just like
LXR•TEST 6.0.
Description:
LXR•TEST is a comprehensive assessment solution. You will learn to use
LXR•TEST to:
- author, store, and manage questions in question banks
- techniques for creating exams, and score reporting, based on objective
and mastery criteria
- generate and score paper and/or online LAN and web and exams created from question banks
- score exams using optical mark reader technology
- generate reports and statistics for questions and exam results
- administer and control access to online exams
- customize the presentation of paper and online exams
- create multiple versions and forms of exams
- import questions from external sources
- export scoring data for further analysis
- take advantage of the many other features LXR•TEST 6.1 offers
- Some additional topics which users of prior versions of LXR•TEST may find
useful are:
differences between prior versions and 6.1, and converting
LXR•TEST 5.1 files to LXR•TEST 6.1 format.
Cancellation Policy:
You may cancel by providing written notice to us 30 days prior to start of class for a refund less a $100
cancellation fee. You will not receive any refund after that date.
Substitutions are allowed if we receive written permission of the
registrant.
If we cancel this event, we are liable
only for the refund of any prepaid registration fees.
