How Do I?
Linking Video Files to Web Test Questions
As has been documented in the Read Me file, a limitation of the LXR*TEST 6.0 program is that objects (such as video files) can only be exported for use in a LAN-based exam. We now have included a feature that will allow for an HTML link to be embedded in a question, so that a Web-based exam will be able to reference and display a video file during a test. The steps to using this new feature are documented below.
Questions Window
Enter your question into the bank.
Highlight the text that will act as a place holder.
Right-click on this highlighted text.
Choose the option to "Insert Embedded HTML".
Enter in your HTML text.
Caution:
The referenced video file must reside in an accessible location.
When examinees take the Web-based exam, they will see the HTML referenced video file.
Caution:
Examinees must have the appropriate video plug-in to display the video file in their web browser.
